In business since 1979, The Drain Surgeon provides plumbing repair and sewer-drain cleaning services to homeowners, businesses towns and cities. The Electro Surgeon provides electrical installation and repairs. As a prospective franchisee, you will be associated with the recognized leader in the industry. The Drain Surgeon/Electro Surgeon currently has a network of more than 36 franchised areas — a network of dedicated business people with whom you would be associated.

Qualifications to become a Successful Partner

Trade qualifications are not essential, as you will employ tradesmen to carry out the service. Hands – on involvement in the business is however, essential, as is your ability to support an investment in the region of R350 000+. The average cost of a franchise is between R49 000 to R150 000 depending on the size of the area. The balance of R200 000 is then used by you in setting up the business and working capital. This would allow you to establish a fully-fledged franchise in a main area, subject to the availability of territories. Low-cost opportunities in smaller centers and townships are also available. For The Electro Surgeon, the franchisee is required to be a qualified electrician.
